Beginner Horseback Riding Lessons

This lesson is for our riders with little to no experience. Lessons are not based on age, so whether you're an adult or a kid, this is where you will begin! Horses will be assigned based on height/weight. Please see the chart below for more information. 

Requirements:
All lesson riders must wear a helmet
All riders must sign the liability waiver.
Weight limit on a horse is 250 lbs
All riders must wear closed-toe shoes
All riders must wear long pants

Cancellation policy:
A 48-hour notice is required in order to reschedule or cancel a lesson. Refunds are not offered at this time.
All lessons are conducted rain or shine. In the event that Callidora Ranch Adventures determines weather conditions to be unsafe, lessons will be rescheduled.

Intermediate Horseback Riding Lessons

Intermediate lessons are for riders, who are confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but do not ride regularly or are still developing. These lessons can also include an entry level into some of our specialty training, such as; barrel racing, pole bending and roping.
Lessons are not based on age, so whether you're an adult or kid, it is based on your experience! Horses will be assigned based on height/weight. Please see the chart below for more information.

Advanced Horseback Riding Lessons

This is for our advanced level riders, who are confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), and who ride regularly. Advanced lessons will delve more into the ability to handle a spirited horse in open country! These lessons can also focus in specialty riding such as; barrel racing, roping, pole bending, sorting, cutting and much more.
Lessons are not based on age, so whether you're an adult or kid, it is based on your experience! Horses will be assigned based on height/weight. Please see the chart below for more information.
