Never thought of buying bulk beef before? Well, buying beef in bulk allows you to purchase up to a year’s worth of beef at one low price per pound. You pay the same price per pound for Ground Beef as you pay for Rib Eye steaks and Prime Rib roast. And no matter how you order your locally raised bulk beef, you will receive the maximum number of cuts for the size of beef you select.

What is Ranch Raised Bulk Beef?

HOW ORDERING WORKS

Purchasing beef in bulk, directly from ranchers like us, is the most economical way to purchase beef. Simply put, you get enough meat to fill your freezer and you pay less per pound than you pay at your local grocery store! Awesome.

When it comes to beef weights, there are 3 different terms  of which you want to be aware.  “Live” weight refers to what the animal weighed before processing. "Hanging" weight refers to the animal's weight after cleaning and hanging at the processor. "Take-home" weight is the final weight of the meat that each customer will bring home, after 14 -21 days of dry aging. The take-home weight also varies by the cuts you choose and the quantity of bones and fat in the cuts.
Our price per pound is calculated on the hanging weight of the animal. 

Dry Aged Angus Bulk Beef

HOW ORDERING WORKS

Our ranch-raised beef is processed at a local, inspected butcher shop where it is dry-aged for 14 to 21 days prior to processing. Dry-aging our beef allows the natural enzymes to tenderize the meat while dehydration concentrates the meat’s rich, natural flavor – giving you flavor-packed, tender steaks and mouthwatering roasts in every order of Callidora Ranch bulk beef.

*The quantity of each cut may vary due to the weight of the animal, the steak thickness you select, and the size of roast you select.

Reserving Your Callidora Ranch Bulk Beef

HOW ORDERING WORKS

Next

When you purchase Callidora Ranch Beef, you can purchase our Starter Package option or customize your cuts of meat.

We require a non-refundable deposit to secure your order; the deposit amount varies based on the size of bulk beef you order. Once we deliver your animal to our butcher, we’ll email your final invoice. Your invoice will include the total amount due for your beef and an estimated pick up date.

The prices below are estimates based on average-sized beef. Your cost may vary based on the weight of your beef.

Quarter Average Price: $785 – $830
Half Average Price: $1,425 – $1,600
Whole Average Price: $2,700 – $3,200

Paying for Your Bulk Beef

HOW ORDERING WORKS

When you purchase bulk beef, payment for your beef is due to Callidora Ranch and we require a small deposit to secure your beef at the time of order. Your final cost for your beef is determined by the hanging weight of your animal and will be determined the day your beef is taken to the butcher.

Final payment for your Georgia bulk beef is due at the time of pick-up. Your beef will not be released without full payment. Your cost may vary based on the weight of your animal. Due to market fluctuations and processing fees, our prices are subject to change without notice.

Bringing Home Your Bulk Beef

HOW ORDERING WORKS

Bringing home your beef is the final step for completing the ordering process! Your bulk beef order will be frozen for pickup, so we suggest that you come prepared with coolers to preserve and protect the beef during your transport home. This will ensure that it remains fresh and delicious!
And because you’ll receive your entire order of beef at one time, it’s important to make sure you have enough freezer space at home to accommodate your order.  Our beef can remain delicious for up to one year when kept frozen!

We are a family run ranch with strong belief in the power of tradition. Our goal is to do things right, stewarding what God has given us and raising our Black Angus cattle naturally, with transparency from pasture to plate.  Our herd of Black Angus cattle is raised responsibly on our open Georgia range of pastures. We believe in providing natural Black Angus ranch raised beef that is free from growth hormones and we are committed to following humane handling practices for our herd every step of the way, from calving to processing.
